Abstract
The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
The New South Wales Office of Water (NOW) provides to the Bureau of Meteorology a copy of their hydstra surface water database. The last extract was received in July 2013.
Data was extracted from the Hydstra format to .csv files for surface water sites within the Tweed, Richmond & Clarence region.
This included Average:
*Daily discharge in ML/day from 9am-9am
*Temperature
*EC
*Turbidity
The sites NOT available in HYDSTRA are highlighted in the site list file. Quality codes are explained in the Data Quality Codes file and variables are listed in Data_Variables file.
Dataset History
The New South Wales Office of Water (NOW) provides to the Bureau of Meteorology a copy of their hydstra surface water database. The last extract was received in July 2013. Data was extracted from the Hydstra format to .csv files for surface water sites within the Clarence sub-region as requested by the CLM project team. Quality codes have been included. Where surface water quality data is available, this is included on a separate tab for each gauging station. Data for the Moreton region is sourced from the QLD DNRM and is not included in this extract.
