South Sydney Deep Well Completion Reports

Abstract

This dataset was supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and is presented here as originally supplied. Metadata was not provided and has been compiled by the Bioregional Assessment Programme based on the known details at the time of acquisition.

This resource contains all of the well data within the (South) Sydney Bioregion, used to create the Sydney geological model.

This dataset has been provided to the BA Programme for use within the programme only. Third parties should contact the NSW Department of Industry. http://www.industry.nsw.gov.au/

Purpose

This resource identifies stratigraphic boundaries as well as providing descriptive lithological information.

Dataset History

A number of wells were downloaded from the free access, open to the public, data base of the NSW Trade and Investment division, i.e. the DigsOpen database. These files were searched and those of use to the 3D geological modeling were stored in a folder to create the model. These are those wells.
