Abstract
The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
Dataset contains file geodatabase polygon feature class, raster and shapefile of subcatcments for selected gauges in the Clarence-Moreton Bioregion.
Dataset History
Subcatchment areas were generated with the ArcGIS 10.1 Spatial Analyst->Hydrology->Watershed tool using the GA 9 sec v3 d-8 flow direction raster (see lineage) and selected gauge point locations as pour-points.
A pour point feature class (CLM_AWRA_calibration_gauges) was generated from the gauge data provided in
CLM-proposed gauges for AWRA calibration feb17_2015.xls (included in dataset).
A subcatchment raster (CLM_AWRA_gauge_WS) was generated with the WATERSHED tool. The resultant raster was converted to a polygon feature class (CLM_AWRA_calibration_gauge_subcats) and re-projected to the BA CLM Albers projection for area calculations (CLM_AWRA_calibration_gauge_subcatchments.shp)
The gauge cathment polygons were also intersected with Climate cell polygons (CLM_AWRA_gauge_catch_x_ClimateCell) to generate a lookup table depicting the proportional contribution of each climate cell to subcatchments.
