CLM - Toonumbar and Rocky Creek dam storage volumes derived from height

Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

Dam storage volumes estimates for Toonumbar Dam (Toonumbar), and Rocky Lake (Rocky Creek Dam)

Purpose

To allow calculation of storage volume summaries in the Richmond River catchment

Dataset History

Used the concurrent height and volume values for part of the time series, to construct a regression relationship. This was used to estimate volume for the entire time-series based on the height measurements. We did not take into account any changes to the storage as a result of sediment infill or other changes.
