Abstract

This dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.

A selection of significant wetlands in the Northern Territory Great Artesian Basin which have been identified as meeting the criteria for listing in the Directory of Important Wetlands in Australia (as per Duguid A (2011) Wetlands of the Great Artesian Basin Water Control District (Northern Territory), Technical Report No. 13/2011A, Northern Territory Government Department of Natural Resources, Environment, the Arts and Sport, Alice Springs, p 26 & 27.)

Purpose

To identify aquatic ecosystems of high conservation value in the Northern Territory, Great Artesian Basin.
